Young Herlooms, New Old Fashioned and American Landscape

Event Details:
Friday, February 9, 2018 - 8:00pm

The Yellow Cab Tavern is pleased to bring together three of Southwest Ohio's most talented young Americana-influenced acts on Friday, February 9 with Young Heirlooms from Cincinnati, The New Old-Fashioned from Dayton, and The American Landscape from Springfield.

Doors open at 8pm and tickets are $9 in advance or $12 at the doors.

Young Heirlooms

Young Heirlooms' music has a sound that is handed down from a bygone era, loved for its history, but remains in a new contemporary setting. The sextet's highly anticipated new album, The Hammer was released late last year to accolades from Cincinnati and national press. This will be their first Dayton show since its release.

The New Old-Fashioned

Fusing big harmonies, punchy guitars, and lyrics firmly rooted in a Midwestern lifestyle, The New Old-Fashioned’s sound is both modern and classic. Reminiscent of the heartland rock and Americana of artists like Tom Petty, the Eagles, the Old 97s, and Wilco, the New Old-Fashioned plays what it knows: catchy, no-frills rock & roll.

The American Landscape

Based out of Springfield, The American Landscape has been making a name for themselves locally and regionally with their inventive and authentic style of indie folk. Formed in 2016, they have released a 5 song EP and are already working on recording new material to be released later this year.
