When are you open?

Our hours are Tuesday 4-12, Wednesday 4-10, Thursday 4-10, Friday 4-2:30. Saturday 4-2:30, Sunday 4-10.

How long have you been open?

Yellow Cab began with hosting special events in 2011. In 2017 we transitioned to a full time bar and began opening every weekend.

 

Was your building really the former Yellow Cab Company Building?

Yep! Our building was previously used by the cab company for the city of Dayton. We rehabbed the building after they moved out and turned it into a fun community space.

 

Is your place accessible?

Yes our building is one story with no stairs. Our entrances are wide and we also have accessible parking and bathrooms. We can also accommodate most seating arrangements. Please see Tara at the bar if you would like a different table or chair for you or your party.

 

Do you have servers?

Our bar is pub style service. We do not have waitstaff or servers. You can order at the bar and take to your table or sit at the bar.

 

What type of payments do you accept?

We take all major credit cards, Apple Pay or cash. We also have an ATM on site if you need cash. You may tip the bar staff with cash or with your card.

 

I am coming to see a band. Do you have seats?

When we have bands playing, we typically have 80 seats at the tables on the patios and at the bar. If there is a large crowd, we may remove some chairs and have a standing only section. If for any reason you need a chair please see Tara at the bar.

 

Can I bring my own lawn chair?

No we do not allow people to bring in their own chairs.

 

When are show/door times?

Each night of music has a different start time. You can find details on our Facebook event page. A door person will begin taking admission an hour before the music begins.

 

Can I show up early?

If you are here to see a band, you may come any time that we are open. You be able to pay the door person or acquire tickets an hour before music starts.

 

Is the show sold out?

Is the show all ages/can I bring my kids?

Our space is all ages unless otherwise noted. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a guardian. Children must always be under parental supervision. All children must wear ear protection.

 

Do you have TVs?

We have televisions at the bar but they will be turned off anytime a band is playing out of respect for the artists. No exceptions.

When are poetry slams?

Poetry slams are held every first and third Sunday of the month at 7:30pm.

 

Do you have any non alcoholic/gluten free/hop free drinks?

We always have Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, ginger ale, ginger beer, club soda, tonic water and juice available. We also carry Odouls, Athletic N/A,hard seltzers and ciders. Please see Tara at the bar if you would like to request any items that we don’t carry.
